The Customs Headquarters Building (CHB), with a total gross floor area of about 41,000 square metres in 32 storeys, was commissioned in December 2010. It is located at North Point and is the first headquarters building ever built for the Hong Kong Customs.

The CHB accommodates most of the administrative and investigation formations which were previously scattered over the territory. A Customer Service Centre has been set up to provide one-stop, integrated and speedy services to the public. The CHB is also equipped with many other facilities such as an indoor firing range, a detention centre, a multi-purpose auditorium, an exhibition gallery and a media briefing room which help enhance the operational efficiency, promote capacity building and meet the development needs of the Department.
