Disciplined Services Grand Parade to mark 10th Anniversary of HKSAR

A Grand Parade of HKSAR Disciplined Services will be held on July 15 (Sunday) at Hong Kong Stadium, So Kon Po to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the establishment of HKSAR.

The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, will officiate at the Grand Parade.

The event is organised by Security Bureau in conjunction with Hong Kong Police Force, Fire Services Department, Customs and Excise Department, Immigration Department, Correctional Services Department, Civil Aid Service, Auxiliary Medical Service and Government Flying Service.

It will feature for the first time a silent drill jointly performed by five disciplined services, including Hong Kong Police Force, Fire Services Department, Customs and Excise Department, Immigration Department and Correctional Services Department.

Other highlights include demonstration by Customs drug detector dog, kung fu, umbrella dance, artistic cycling, tower building, band music and performance by pop singers.

Participating youth uniformed groups include Civil Aid Service Cadet Corps; Hong Kong Adventure Corps; Hong Kong Road Safety Association; Scouts Association of Hong Kong; the Boy's Brigade, Hong Kong; the Cadet Command of Hong Kong St. John Ambulance and the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association.

The Grand Parade is free for admission. Tickets will be given out on first-come-first-served basis at all Public Enquiry Service Centers (PESCs) of Home Affairs Department starting from June 18.
