Applications for admission tickets for Hong Kong Customs College open days begin

5 Nov 2019

As part of Hong Kong Customs' 110th anniversary celebration events, public open days at the Hong Kong Customs College (HKCC) will be held on November 30 and December 1 to provide the public with an opportunity to better understand the work and personnel training of the department.

There will be different theme zones to showcase interactively the development history, various professional duties and achievements of Customs. The open day programme will include a performance by the Customs and Excise Band, silent drills, demonstrations by Customs detector dogs, display of advanced equipment, visits to the Professional Development Training Block and the outdoor firing range, and performances by Customs officers and uniformed groups.

The public open days will be held in three sessions:

From today (November 5) until November 12, those interested can complete the Admission Ticket Requisition Form and send an email to hkccopenday@customs.gov.hk with the subject marked as "Application for Hong Kong Customs College Open Day cum Gala Day Tickets". Applicants are required to specify the session they wish to join (one choice only), the number of admission tickets required (four is the maximum) and the preferred ticket collection point in the form. Admission tickets will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Successful applicants will be confirmed by email on or before November 12.

A free shuttle bus service between the HKCC and Sai Lau Kok Road in Tsuen Wan will be provided 30 minutes before the starting time of each session. Visitors may also use public transport to access the college. No parking spaces will be provided.

An open day session will be cancelled if Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or the Black Rainstorm Warning is issued three hours before the event.
