Hong Kong Customs detected a suspected dangerous drugs trafficking case yesterday (September 4) at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) Hong Kong Port. A suspected etomidate capsule and an e-cigarette smoking device were seized.
The arrested person has been released on bail pending further investigations. Investigations are ongoing.
Under the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, trafficking in a dangerous drug is a serious offence. The maximum penalty upon conviction is a fine of $5 million and life imprisonment.
