The Commissioner of Hong Kong Customs and Excise, Mr Clement Cheung, today (December 18) attended the 30th Customs Cooperation Conference in Seoul, Korea, and signed agreed minutes for closer co-operation with the Commissioner of the Korea Customs Service, Mr Joo Yung-sup.

The conference offered a platform for Hong Kong Customs and the Korea Customs Service to update the latest development and discuss further co-operation between the two administrations.

Commenting on the conference, Mr Cheung said, "The conference is a very successful one for the two administrations to exchange constructive ideas and initiatives.

"With the long-standing co-operation between the two administrations, Hong Kong Customs will further take proactive initiatives to foster a closer and more strategic partnership with the Korean Customs to meet forthcoming challenges," he added.
