Hong Kong Customs introduced a brand new AI Ambassador "XiaoHui" today (25 March). Integrated with generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) technology and large language model (LLM), "XiaoHui", as an appealing digital human, offers unparalleled service experience to members of the public and travellers.
"XiaoHui" is an interactive response system powered by the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) knowledge base developed by Hong Kong Customs and the localised LLM developed by the Hong Kong Generative AI Research and Development Center. Equipped with exceptional semantic understanding and information retrieval capability, and through the use of GenAI response technology, "XiaoHui" is able to provide real-time response to Customs-related enquiries made by the public and travellers, offering them intelligent, personalised and precise services.
