Hong Kong Authorized Economic Operators (HKAEO) can enjoy reciprocal customs clearance facilitation including reduced examination and prioritized clearance with the Chinese Mainland under the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) between the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and Hong Kong Customs.
To ensure a smooth declaration process, Office of Supply Chain Security Management (OSCS) specially produced a training video demonstrating the procedures to input relevant AEO identification number onto the declaration systems for enjoying MRA benefits in the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong.
OSCS will continue to support local traders and get them familiar with customs clearance procedures to enjoy clearance benefits for exploring the Greater Bay Area market.
