Officers from the Office of Supply Chain Security Management (OSCS) of Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department (C&ED) delivered an in-depth presentation on Hong Kong Authorized Economic Operator (HKAEO) Programme today (5 November 2019) in a luncheon meeting with the Management Consultancies Association of Hong Kong.
Representative from OSCS introduced in the meeting the latest development of the HKAEO Programme and the potential benefits of the programme to local enterprises. Understanding the gist of the programme, representatives of the Management Consultancies Association considered that the HKAEO Programme would bring concrete benefits to enterprises and it is worth to introduce the programme to their clients if opportunities arise.
OSCS will maintain close contact with various organizations to further promote the HKAEO Programme, so as to strengthen C&ED’s role in facilitating legitimate trade.
