Types		When to apply
I.	Removal Permit for Dutiable Goods	When removing dutiable goods from - an importing conveyance to a bonded warehouse; a bonded warehouse to another bonded warehouse.
II.	Removal Permit for Duty-Paid Goods	When removing dutiable commodities - for local use from the importing conveyance or bonded warehouse upon payment of the full duty; which are exempted from duty from an importing conveyance or bonded warehouse; which are attracting no duty under the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance, Chapter 109, Laws of Hong Kong from the importing conveyance for local use or to an exporting conveyance for re-export; from a bonded warehouse to a place where the goods will be destroyed.
III.	Export Permit	When removing dutiable goods from - a bonded warehouse to an exporting conveyance; an importing conveyance to an exporting conveyance for re-export.
IV.	Ships' Stores Permit	When removing dutiable goods used as ships' / aircrafts' stores from - a bonded warehouse to an exporting conveyance; an importing conveyance to an exporting conveyance.

Applications can be made electronically from 7am to 11pm everyday (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) through one of the following electronic service providers:

The processing time for a permit application is normally half a working day upon receipt of all necessary information, documents and duty payable as applicable. Service charges will be charged by the service providers. No charge is levied by this Department.
