In cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Customs organised a seminar on the sideline of the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair on 30 April 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This year marked the 40th edition of the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair under the theme "Celebrating Four Decades of Wonder". As one of the world's leading gifts fairs, the event has lured some 36,000 buyers around the globe to foster and promote international trade, cooperation and collaboration.
To enable the sector to harness the full benefits of tariff reduction brought by the Free Trade Agreement Transhipment Facilitation Scheme (FTA Scheme), an officer of the Ports and Maritime Command (PMC) explicated the procedures and points to note on application for the Scheme during the seminar.
