Advancing "Customs Co-operative Arrangement" and "AEO Mutual Recognition Arrangement" with General Administration of Customs of United Arab Emirates

Director of International Customs Relations of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mr Suoud AlAgroobi, led a delegation to Hong Kong between 23 and 24 April for bilateral meetings and joint validation visit with an aim to expedite the implementation of the "Customs Co-operative Arrangement" and "Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Mutual Recognition Arrangement" between Hong Kong Customs and UAE Customs. The meetings further strengthened co-operation between the two customs administrations, and took a step forward in enhancing customs efficiency and facilitating trade.
