During the National Day Golden Week, Customs officers distributed leaflets to tourists at different land boundary control points and shopping spots such as Yau Tsim Mong, To Kwa Wan and Causeway Bay to remind them to have a good understanding of a product's specifications and make comparisons before purchasing. Besides, tourists were reminded to patronise shops with good reputations to avoid financial losses.
