Customs' publicity team actively participated in the Hong Kong Holiday & Travel Expo 2025 Autumn during which a promotional booth was set up to educate visitors to stay vigilant when booking hotels, air tickets, attractions' tickets, etc, to avoid falling into consumer pitfalls. Customs officers also explained consumer rights to the visitors and reminded them to stay alert before purchasing high-valued prepaid services, aiming to raise their awareness of "smart spending". In addition, traders were reminded of the requirements of the Trade Descriptions Ordinance.
