Full Launch of Air-Land Fresh Lane

The Air-Land Fresh Lane (Fresh Lane), jointly launched by the Guangdong and Hong Kong Governments, aims to streamline the clearance of fresh food transshipment and enables customs clearance to be completed in Zhuhai within three hours after arriving Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), for delivery to the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

The Fresh Lane has come into full operation following a trial period since April 2025. The dedicated channel has not only successfully established the HZMB as a "green channel" for fresh products but also facilitated the transhipment of fresh products between overseas and the Mainland, marking a significant milestone in customs co-operation and trade facilitation and injecting new momentum into the logistics development of the GBA.

The shipment was imported to Zhuhai via the HKIA and the HZMB by utilising the Fresh Lane and was transshipped to other Mainland cities.

By overcoming difficulties and removing barriers, relevant regulations are aligned between the two sides and clearance procedures are simplified.
