In September, 33 trainees from the Inspector Induction Course participated in the 5-day National Studies and Mainland Customs Operations Course organised by the Shanghai Customs University. The delegation was led by the Commandant of the Hong Kong Customs College, Ms Angel Lau. The course featured an opening ceremony on the first day, presided over by Assistant Commissioner (Administration and Human Resource Development), Ms Phoebe Wong. The course aimed to deepen the trainees' understanding of our country's rapid growth and advanced customs operation through thematic lectures, cultural activities, and on-site teaching. Additionally, a special exchange session engaging students from the Shanghai Customs University and the trainees in various sports activities was held, fostering invaluable friendship and collaboration.
