The 39th Annual Meeting between Hong Kong Customs and Macao Customs Service / Macao Economic and Technological Development Bureau was held in Macao on 31 October. The Hong Kong Customs delegation was headed by the Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Mr Chan Tsz-tat, while the Macao Customs delegation was headed by the Director-General of the Macao Customs Service, Mr Adriano Marques Ho. During the meeting, the Commissioner recognised the remarkable achievements resulting from mutual co-operation. The two Customs authorities will continue to deepen co-operation in different aspects, including facilitating customs clearance, combatting cross-boundary drug trafficking activities, anti-smuggling efforts, protecting intellectual property rights and staff training, so as to maintain the stability and prosperity of the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
