Hong Kong Customs and Qatar Customs sign AEO Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) Action Plan

Under the witness of the Commissioner of Customs and Excise, Mr Chan Tsz-tat, and the Consul General of Qatar in Hong Kong, Ms Sheikha Noora Khalifa Al-Thani, the Assistant Commissioner (Excise and Strategic Support), Mr Ng Chun-wah, signed the AEO MRA Action Plan with the Assistant Chairman for Customs Affairs of Qatar Customs, Mr Talal Al-Shaibi, on 9 September. The signed Action Plan was exchanged at the 10th Belt and Road Summit under the witness of the Chief Executive, Mr John Lee, on the following day. This milestone laid an important foundation for expanding the AEO MRA network to the Middle East.
