Summer Internship Programme 2023 concludes with success

F16.1-CE.jpg Customs YES has been organizing the Summer Internship Programme for three consecutive years. This year, we received enthusiastic support from 38 corporates and 10 formations from the department, offering a total of 117 summer internship placements to the youth members, including placement opportunities in the Greater Bay Area. The Programme covered a wider range of industries compared to the previous year. F16.2-CE.jpg In the Certificate Presentation Ceremony and Sharing Session held on 2 November 2023, the Deputy Commissioner (Control and Enforcement) of Customs and Excise, Mr Chan Tsz-tat, expressed sincere gratitude to the participating corporates for their unwavering efforts in nurturing the youth. He also emphasized that Hong Kong Customs would continue to unite all sectors of society in supporting comprehensive youth development, so as to nurture a new generation of young individuals who possess a deep affection for both the country and Hong Kong, global perspectives, an aspiring mindset, and positive thinking.

Participating interns expressed that the work opportunities offered by the Programme enriched their knowledge, provided valuable experience and broadened their horizons, all of which are pivotal to establishing a solid foundation for their personal and career development in the future.
