Following the conclusion of the AEO Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRA) with Bahrain Customs in April last year, the Office of Trade Relations and Public Communication officers actively extends the AEO MRA network in the Middle East.
Bilateral meetings and Joint Validation Visits with Saudi Arabia Customs and United Arab Emirates Customs were held last October and in January this year respectively, making good progress towards the implementation of the MRA.
■In January 2025, the Head of the Office of Trade Relations and Public Communication, Mr Simon Lee led a delegation to Dubai to discuss the implementation of AEO MRA with UAE Customs.
