Hong Kong Customs held the Hong Kong Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Certificate Presentation Ceremony on 29 November last year with participation of around 150 guests. Apart from presenting accreditation certificates to the new AEOs, Hong Kong Customs also presented the Hong Kong AEO Programme Partnership Scheme Awards in recognition of the outstanding performance of the awardees in promoting the Programme. In addition, the department signed the AEO Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) Action Plan with Lao Customs during the Ceremony, marking a significant step towards the conclusion of the MRA between the two places.
