The 2nd Shenzhen-Hong Kong Ports Football Event, co-hosted by the Office of Port of Entry and Exit of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government and the Security Bureau, was held on 30 November last year at the Disciplined Services Sports and Recreation Club. The Vice Mayor of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, Mr Luo Huanghao, and the Secretary for Security, Mr Tang Ping-keung, officiated at the kickoff ceremony. The event brought together over 100 participants who are responsible for the operation of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong ports, unleashing their athletic passion on the field and strengthening camaraderie. The Hong Kong Customs Football Team fought their way to the finals of the Gold Cup competition, ultimately losing to the Hong Kong Fire Services Department in a penalty shootout and securing the first runner-up position in the competition.
