New Access Control System with Facial Recognition at Customs Headquarters Building Launched

To enhance security and provide a more convenient access experience, the Customs Headquarters Building fully implemented a new Access Control System on 7 April 2025, which includes installing facial recognition access control devices at all turnstiles and entrances of each parking level and increasing the number of access gates on the ground floor lobby to 18. With facial recognition technology, registered staff members can simply show their faces for identity verification at the turnstiles.
