Hong Kong Customs held a series of meetings together with certificate of appointment presentation ceremonies with industry representatives from the four sub-groups under the Dutiable Commodities Customer Liaison Group in May and June. At the meetings, Hong Kong Customs outlined the current policy landscape and future developments regarding dutiable commodities, while industry representatives actively shared constructive feedback on process optimisation and related matters. During the ceremonies, the then Assistant Commissioner (Excise and Strategic Support) of Customs and Excise, Mr Ng Chun-wah, presented the certificates of appointment and expressed appreciation to the members for their staunch support. He also looked forward to continued close collaboration with the new-term members to strengthen mutual trust and jointly enhance industry efficiency.
