On 3 February, Hong Kong Customs conducted a joint patrol operation with the Zhongying Street Administration Bureau at Chung Ying Street to prevent and combat unlawful activities.
During the operation, officers of Intellectual Property Investigation Bureau and Revenue Crimes Investigation Bureau distributed leaflets to traders and advised them to comply with the Trade Descriptions Ordinance and the newly amended Dutiable Commodities Ordinance, and not to sell counterfeit goods or illicit cigarettes.
