Regional Drug Enforcement Capacity Building Workshop

In response to the latest drug trafficking trend and to strengthen drug enforcement capacity of law enforcement agencies(LEAs)in the region, Hong Kong Customs held the Regional Drug Enforcement Capacity Building Workshop from 18 to 22 September 2023. The workshop brought together 44 representatives from 24 LEAs, focusing on key topics such as sharing the latest drug trafficking trends, exchanging of practical investigation skills and visiting Customs training facilities. Hong Kong Customs took this opportunity to foster cooperation with overseas and regional LEAs, enhance the understanding of frontline officers of transnational drug trafficking trends and boost the effectiveness of suppressing transnational drug crimes.
