Guangdong Sub-Administration of General Administration of Customs of People's Republic of China Delegation visits Hong Kong Customs

The Deputy Director General of the Guangdong Sub-Administration of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, Mr Jiang Kui, led a delegation to visit Hong Kong Customs between 27 and 28 January. During the visit, the delegation met with the Deputy Commissioner(Control and Enforcement), Mr Woo Wai-kwan, to have in-depth discussions on strengthening efforts to combat cross-border drug trafficking and smuggling activities.

The delegation also visited the Hong Kong Port Area at the West Kowloon Station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, Kwai Chung Customhouse and Customs Marine Base on Stonecutters Island to learn about Hong Kong Customs' passenger and cargo clearance operations, marine patrol and enforcement work. In addition, they attended the International Customs Day 2026 Reception held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
