The expansion of the Computer Forensic Laboratory (CFL) was completed in November 2022. To tackle the rising trend of advanced technology crime and cybercrime as well as to cope with the ever-increasing workload, Hong Kong Customs continues to invest in computer forensics, including increasing manpower, equipment and office area. The newly expanded office enhances CFL’s capability in providing forensic support and improves the work environment of our colleagues. The new multi-purpose room can facilitate various forms of meetings and trainings. CFL will strive to tackle advanced technology crime and provide better professional forensic support to the Customs.
The Commissioner and other senior officials were briefed by computer forensic expert on the use of various forensic tools.
